The Premonition
Michael Dartson is a middle aged, down to earth, American corporation executive, whose life could not be more removed from the occult.
When he experiences a number of traumatic visions which hurl him into a fearful historic past of wars, plagues, burnings and torture, and a future where he foresees even worse disasters, he starts to doubt his sanity.
He predicts his own wife’s death and that of a friend. Both perish. He has a premonition of being killed himself and seeks psychiatric then psychic help.
Melanie, a pretty young medium informs him that he is a direct descendant of Nostradamus, the 16th century French astrologer and that he has inherited the sage’s memory and incredible clairvoyant powers.
He falls in love with the strange Melanie only to discover that she is related to a family of malevolent mystics and that her sole ambition is to link her line with his to create a super psychic child whom she will control for her own benefit. Occult power clashes with occult power and Michael faces the conflict of having to kill the expected newborn to avert an augured holocaust. |
